Project Details

Nonprofits often carry content libraries assembled over years with no systematic topical strategy — every program, campaign, and advocacy initiative leaving its own trail of pages. The result is a site that's 'about everything' in Google's eyes and authoritative on nothing specifically. We built an AI classification model that scored every page against the nonprofit's core mission topics, producing a clear map of which content reinforced topical authority vs. which content was diluting it. The resulting consolidation and re-focus plan guided the content team through a systematic refocusing of the library. 10–15% organic performance lift from the refocused authority signal, 50% cut in manual review effort, and an AI classification system the team now runs quarterly as the library evolves. The framework transferred across several later nonprofit engagements.
