AI Automation Scoping Brief
The 6 sections we'd walk through on a discovery call — context, workflow, baseline, stack, success criteria, timeline. Fill them in here before the call. You get a cleaner project. We get to spend 30 minutes on strategy instead of intake.
Why we made this
The first 30 minutes of most discovery calls is intake. What does your company do, what's the workflow, who's on the team, where's the data live — questions that are necessary but also the kind of thing you could answer in writing in 15 minutes on your own time.
That leaves the back half of the call for the conversation that actually matters — whether AI automation is the right move here, what it would look like, what a realistic scope and timeline would be. Which is what you booked the call for in the first place.
If you fill this out before the call, we skip the intake entirely and go straight to the substance. If you fill this out and decide it's not the right time for a call — also fine. Either way you walk away with a clearer articulation of the problem than you started with, which is its own value.
