Compare this week’s export with last week’s, reconcile a source with an output, or review a revised contact list. Choose an ID that is unique in both files. Rows and columns can move without creating false changes.

How comparison works

Comma-separated UTF-8 files, with a header row and up to 5,000 data rows. Quoted commas, line breaks, and escaped quotes are supported. Blank lines are ignored. Field values are compared as text, so 1.0 and 1 are different. Added and removed columns are reported once at the column level. No fuzzy matching or calculations.

CSV report cells that look like formulas are prefixed with an apostrophe for safer spreadsheet opening. The JSON download preserves the original values.
